The Magical World of Lottie Fiske Prize Pk

Growing up, my family loved reading about kids and magical worlds like Harry Potter. You become involved in the story and attached to the characters. Such is the case with my new books about a little girl named Lottie Fiske and her enchanting adventures into other worlds and the unknown.

The Water and the Wild

The Water and the Wild

In this delightful book, Lottie’s dear friend Eliot is ill and getting worse. No one can seem to help him, and she’s tearfully sad about the situation. You see they made a pact to get good grades in school so they could go to any university they want. Eliot’s sickness was not going to change the plans, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Things were not looking good. And then there were the bullies from school. But things were about to change, and it all started with a pure white finch singing on Lottie’s green apple tree. And then a door opens in the apple tree. Follow Lottie down through the apple roots to another world – a world of magic both treacherous and beautiful.

The Doorway and the Deep

The Doorway and the Deep

The Doorway and the Deep book is the sequel to The Water and the Wild. Here Lottie’s adventures continue as she faces more difficult situations and cunning people. Travel back to the enchanting and treacherous land of Limn, where Lottie Fiske has escaped the murderous Southerly king for a while—but other perils are hard on her heels. War is coming to the beautiful world of magic that Lottie has come to love. Events are pushing her to the North, where many answers—about her parents, about her abilities, about this world and others—await. But the road to the north is full of dangers, and so are the answers.

Children love reading about champions and heroes, and these books ooze with epic, noble, and fearless adventures. Lottie is a likable girl that pulls at our heart strings, but more than that, she’s courageous and willing to go to the ends of the earth and other worlds to get answers regardless of the dangers presented. The stories are captivating and delightful to read.
