We love and appreciate our moms every day, but Mother’s Day is a special occasion for us to honor her. One of the most endearing gifts we can get our mom is jewelry, and PicturesonGold.com has a lovely selection of gold, silver and photo lockets that will take her breath away. This year they are celebrating Mother’s Day by offering a gorgeous Sterling Silver 2 Photo Heart Locket with an 18 inch Sterling Silver Box chain that you can personalize just for mom.
Designing Your Own Locket or customizing one for Mother’s Day is easy with PicturesOnGold.com’s “Build Your Own Locket,” technology. This unique process allows you the freedom to create the perfect locket by adding script, photo’s, or monograms. They walk you through every step, and you can see what your choices will look like before you move on to the next step. It will also show your total cost so you can stay within your budget. I had fun creating a locket for my sister.
Step 1 Front Side
In Step 1 your starting with a blank locket. Here is where you decide what you want on the front of your locket. Click on the option of choice and follow the prompts.
My sister is very fond of hearts and I think they’re the ultimate symbol of love and ideal for Mother’s Day. I was impressed with the number of different choices available. They have a category with lovely images just for Mother’s Day, but you can opt for Finger Prints, Flowers, Butterflies, and many more.
Step 2: Left Side
Step 2 and 3 allow you to personalize the inside of the locket with either a photo or text if you want. To me, this is where our dearest photos should go, whether people, pets, or objects. A friend of mine has a picture of her first car and first home in her locket; they’re very sentimental to her. So you’re not limited to family photo’s.
Step 3: Right Side
When you click on the photos option, you have three choices, Color Laser Engraved, Laser Engraved, or Paper Photo. I opted for the color laser engraved. Once you upload your digital photo, you can use the programs buttons to manipulate and adjust the size and position or even rotate your image. Or you can click on the photo and drag it to the right position. My sister does not have any jewelry with pictures of her grandchildren, so I added two recent photos.
Step 4: Back Side
The last step is choosing what you want on the back of your locket. Here you are given two options, either adding some text or a monogram. I added the names of my sister’s grandchildren.
Next Step is choosing the 18 inch Sterling Silver Box chain with a lobster claw to finish off your locket.
The Final Step is previewing the finished locket before you add it to the cart.
Creating this locket for my sister with the “Build Your Own Locket,” program was simple and so much fun. I know she will adore and treasure this gift, and pass along as a family heirloom in the future. Lockets are picture-perfect gifts; they capture moments and tell a sentimental story. If you’ve been searching for a noteworthy gift for your mom, then PictureOnGold.com is the place to check out. Their craftsmanship is superb, and their service is incredibly fast and efficient. I had my locket in no time, and it’s exactly as I designed it. I absolutely love it!
