If you have girls in your home you no doubt have copious hair tools to keep them looking their best. I have a drawer full but most of them are not a quality hair tool and really don’t deliver.
One of my all time favorite companies that provides the best flat irons is Rylees. They carry several lines of high end hair tools including my personal favorite brand Karmin. I do have one Karmin flat iron and it’s the most used and most popular in my home. In fact most days there is a line up to use this flat iron because it does the best job.
My girls and I were overwhelmed with blissful joy when I received the new Pink Karmin TitaniumProfessional Flat Iron to review. We absolutely love the gorgeous pink color.
Karmin sets the pace in leading edge hair tool technology. This straightening iron takes the amazing benefits of ceramic heat, ionic technology and combines them with Titanium.
This dynamic Karmin Professional Titanium Flat Iron has a long list of stellar attributes. First it has a revolutionary curved edge scratch resistant Titanium plate system. This is great if you have a home with potentially careless teens.
It heats up to 460F. Wow, none of other hair tools even come close to competing with this power. The heat setting is on the inside of the iron. You simply turn the dial to your desired temperature. It heats up extremely fast so you can get right to styling your hair. You may not want or need to use this high of temperature depending on your hair strength and thickness. Rylees has provided a quick check chart so you can determine what temperature is best for you.
The temperature we used was for normal hair and it worked very well. You only need to keep the iron on your hair 5 seconds or less and it creates silky shiny straight hair or a vibrant bouncy curl. It works the first time! Other irons don’t get hot enough to produce any coveted outcome so you have to curl and recurl. With the Titanium Flat iron you get your “new do” quickly and I like that. You waste less time and there is a lot less stress on your locks. There is no fear of any fingers being singed as this iron has a rigid finger hold at the end of the iron which furnishes complete protection.
Many people are surprised that a flat iron can produce curls. I have to admit that I was one of them. I did not think anything could curl my hair well unless is was specifically a curling iron. I was completely wrong, the Titanium flat iron is very versatile and reduces the need for other hair tools. In fact the salon I go to only uses flat irons, ironically half of them are Karmins. Rylees has also called this product a styling iron because it’s so style flexible and resourceful.
Another attribute is the auto sleep mode. This means the iron will automatically shut off after one hour. I find this a reassuring feature because we have left the iron on umpteen times. It also has drop same technology which means it can certainly tolerate the odd accident that is bound to happen. Another feature I like is the 3 meter tangle free 360 swivel cord. It allows you more freedom to style your hair and multi task in the mornings.
A fabulous component to this Karmin pink beauty is its anti slip edges. There is nothing more frustrating than having to continually grasp your hair in the iron and try to curl it. The Karmin Titanium flat iron has anti slip edges to capture your hair and prevent any slipping.
This iron cleans easily too. Teens can overuse hairspray and it will inevitably end up on the flat iron. Make sure its unplugged and cool before wiping the plates and handle with a clean slightly damp soft cloth.
We love the Karmin Titanium flat iron and it’s been put to work everyday since it arrived in our home. We found it’s the highest quality hair tool we’ve used to date. We’ve since purged our hair tool drawer and have donated the other tools to a charity.
