Ape Entertainment Comic Books
I have umpteen family kids of various ages always at my home. Keeping them amused can be a challenge at times. I like to incorporate times when they actually learn something or I will do some crafting with them. Many times this involves reading instructions. I have a few kids that do not read well. We have lots of books to read, but if you have a child that needs to improve their literary skills comic books must not be overlooked.
Ape Entertainment is the quintessential site for the most exciting comic books on the market. I got to review a few of their comic books and share them with the kids. It had been ages since I read a comic book so I was looking forward to see how they morphed over the years.
I was astonished at the quality not only in appearance but in the story lines as well. The graphics are superb! The colors are vibrant and very appealing to the eye, especially young eyes.
I received Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Richie Rich which were very familiar to all the kids in my family. I am familiar with all three but had only watch Shrek movies.
My kids love all the adventures of this lovable chubby Panda called Po and his crew. Po has gone from an awkward noodle shop employee to a legendary Dragon Warrior. He adores the Furious Five and Kung Fu.
This comic book is filled with three delighted adventures. The plots are very well written and keep your attention. What I really like is the expressions on the characters faces, sometimes no words are necessary. Sound effects were written in the background on some scenes and the kids enjoyed reading these out loud as well.
Richie Rich is a globetrotting hero who’s goal is to help the less fortunate. He is well liked right at the onset by everyone. In this comic book Richie and his friends find a Yeti and a like minded group of Ninja’s who’s objective is to protect the Yeti. A group of poachers are being paid handsomely to catch and deliver the Yeti to their benefactor. Richie, his crew and the Ninja’s have a big dilemma on their hands. They are captured too!! What a fabulous story with a great ending. The kids loved this comic and had reread it many times.
My family and I love Shrek. In this comic the likeable green Ogre and his friends encounter Rumpelstiltskins. You are pre-warned that this is not a story for the fainthearted. Here Rumpelstiltskins, a resentful little villian goes out of his way to antagonize Shrek and his friends. He wants payback for the pain and humiliation he has suffered. It’s a must read.
I found that these comics were so enticing and alluring to the kids. They wanted to read and find out the endings in all of the stories. It opens up a whole new world of excitement and allows them to develop their own imagination.
They appeal to more than just kids, many adults love to read and collect their favorite character. I know several adults who have quite the library of comics in their home.
The nice people at Ape Entertainment would love to offer these three comics books so one lucky reader. Thank you for your generosity Ape Entertainment!

May 23–I admire his determination to eat healthy but, in my opinion, I believe his diet to be an extreme one. There have been books written on reversing heart disease by sticking to a vegan diet but that is not as extreme as this one. That diet allows cooked beans, pastas and grains. As for colonic irrigation, why do you suppose we have a colon? To allow the bad stuff out and that is natural. I don’t think we have to ‘irrigate’ our colons. I believe we should all eat more fruits and vegetables, especially raw and well washed. Good Luck to him.-el03ro
