Pearl Paradise Review & Giveaway

The beauty of pearls has long been spoken of in poems, plays, sayings and songs. Kings and Queens have adorned themselves with the finest pearl jewelry. Crowns, thrones and scepters were decorated with lustrous pearls interwoven with precious gold. Today the pearl is still highly regarded for it’s beauty and value but thankfully anyone can wear pearl jewelry and you don’t have to be royalty.

My favorite is lavender and I found out that pink and lavender is a naturally occurring color found predominately in freshwater pearls. These subtle, pastel colors are not the product of treatment, and the colors do not change or fade. At Pearl Paradise, every associate is a world-class pearl expert. Every team member is required to complete the Gemological Institute of America’s pearl diploma program. Then we train our team in pearl grading, selection, matching, and drilling.

The variety is enormous and you will have a challenge choosing only one favorite item. I had the ultimate pleasure of reviewing their Freshwater Pearl Necklace in lavender. The necklace arrived in a white gift box and inside was a lovely black jewelry box. Opening this box exposed a magnificent pearl necklace in lavender. The first thing you notice is the sheer luster of the pearls. Another important thing I noticed was that the pearls were all the same size and there were no flaws. The clasp I chose is made from white gold and it looked so elegant with the pearls. Great care and attention to detail is apparent in this beautiful necklace. The Freshwater Pearl necklace is charming and graceful with a little black dress and sweet and chic with jeans and a tee. Nice jewelry can make you feel happy just wearing it. I love this lavender necklace and I’m having a time keeping it away from my daughter.

Pearl Paradise also taught me how to take care of my pearls. Cosmetics, sun block, perfume, and hair spray all contain chemicals that can dramatically dull the luster of a pearl. The natural acids contained in body oils and perspiration can also damage pearls in the same way. It is best to put your pearls on at least 30-minutes after applying any personal care products. They also recommend you clean your pearls after each wear with a soft cloth to prevent any harmful buildup. Keep your pearls separate from other jewelry so they don’t get scratched. I keep mine in the jewelry box it arrived in, but if your short on space keep your pearls in a soft cloth pouch.
